Laboratory Solutions from Critical Airflow
Proper airflow and ventilation in a laboratory or research facility requires an efficient and safe roof exhaust system.
The Conventional solution to fume extraction was to install centrifugal exhaust fans with inherent tall, unsightly stacks that require expensive mounting hardware and guy wires. In addition, conventional fans often require frequent maintenance and parts replacement that add to the operating costs and downtime.
Critical Airflow offers a unique solution to the problem and eliminates all of the issues of conventional stacks with the application of the award winning third generation Tri-Stack System from Strobic Air.
Tri-Stack systems operate on a unique principle of internal and external exhaust dilution. They entrain outside air (up to 175% by volume) the resultant discharge plume (up to 150 metres high) produces an effective stake height to penetrate the building boundary layer and safely disperse exhaust into the free air stream.
With three decades of experience in addressing the needs of laboratory researchers and facility owners, Strobic Air has recently developed a third generation Tri-Stack system, which provide enhanced flows at even lower energy costs, with decreased noise levels as well.
Key markets include:
- Laboratory Fume Hood Exhaust Systems
- Manufacturing Process Exhaust
- Process Odour Control
- Hospital Isolation Suite Exhaust
- Bio-Containment Exhaust
- Diesel Generator Exhaust
Strobic products can reduce duct run costs, decrease system pressure drops, and provide a lower, aesthetically pleasing roof line. Unsightly tall stacks, with associated expensive mounting hardware and guy wires are eliminated by the award winning Tri-Stack System.
